About

“Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives...If you can change your mind, you can change your life.”

― William James

Every human being has a right to a life lit by love and enriched by achievement.  My many years of experience in the recovery field have shown me that any client, no matter their starting point, can evolve, thrive, and enjoy the life they always dreamed of having.  Knowing this has instilled in me a passionate drive to help those who yearn for the best their world has to offer.

I see my work with my clients as an active collaboration dedicated to achieving their goals.  It is based on an empathetic, non-judgmental approach which builds a powerful connection between us.  This is fostered by the process of active listening – a complete focus on you and your needs.  As our alliance evolves, I employ other techniques and methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma focused therapy.  Additionally,  I teach you how to effectively use self-compassion, mindfulness, and meditative techniques, especially for symptoms of Anxiety & Depression, Addiction, and/or Trauma.

My approach is designed to help you recover from past traumas, resolve difficulties in the present moment and face new challenges confidently and effectively as they arise.

My many years of practice and the insights I’ve gained by teaching other therapists make me a knowledgeable, effective coach. I give effective clear and simple direction along with lots of encouragement. I will help you  identify your own successes and appreciate your progress as you continue to grow and thrive.

Working together, we can create meaningful and lasting change that brings you closer to your best life.
